The Humboldt County Green Building Program is a joint project of RCEA and Plan It Green.

Plan It Green
Humboldt Plan It Green is a local nonprofit dedicated to increasing awareness about and adoption of green building strategies through education and technical assistance. Plan It Green is convening and facilitating the Green Employers Council as part of the green jobs training program recently started by the County. North Coast Energy Retrofit Summit
On June 17th, 2010, RCEA in conjunction with the County of Humboldt, College of the Redwoods, SBDC, Plan It Green and The Builders Exchange hosted the North Coast Energy Retrofit Summit. The summit discussed new programs like HomeStar and PG&E’s Whole House Performance Program, which will be offering unprecedented incentives to home owners for energy retrofits. This section discusses how contractors, business owners and project managers will be able to use these programs to help their clients.

GREEN Code
